Tigers sweep Ozaukee, remain perfect in BEC

Sam Yancy keyed the Tigers’ hitting with 12 kills. Taylor Bubolz had a team-high 25 assists. Olivia Stauss led in digs with eight. Paige Splittgerber was first in ace serves with four.

Emma Richards paced the Warriors in kills with six.

“It was a good atmosphere for high school volleyball. Our team came out prepared and focused,” said Tiger head coach Brett Damrow.

HG-SPRINGS MATCH

In a non conference dual last Tuesday night, the Tigers swept host St. Mary’s Springs (Fond du Lac), 25-17, 25-14, 25-18.

Brittany Schaller had a teamhigh 11 digs. Yancy led in kills with 11 and Olivia Stauss contributed seven.

“During the match our team showed the most composure and mental toughness they have all year. It was extremely hot in the gym and we overcame that and focused on our game plan. We really limited our mental mistakes all night,” said Damrow.
