ALLEN YEKENEWICZ

Allen “Little Al” Yekenewicz, age 57, of Cascade,WI, received his angel wings on Tuesday Evening (September 13, 2016) passing away from cancer at the Sharon S. Richardson Hospice in Sheboygan Falls, surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born in Sheboygan, WI, on February 28, 1959 to Rosemary (Sippel) Yekenewicz and the late Peter Yekenewicz. He attended Plymouth High School and worked at Richardson Brothers, Rockline and at Old Wisconsin Sausage for the past 17 years.

On July 8, 2008 he married Maryann Johnson at Franklin Park in Sheboygan on a beautiful Saturday afternoon.

Al was an avid collector. He collected Angel figurines, coins and 57 Chevys. Al attended as many car shows as he could get to and to show off his prized Ford Fairlane convertible. He enjoyed attending the Iola Car Show with his wife and friends: the old man, Tim and Mike. He enjoyed watching wrestling with his Mom, shooting in pool leagues and enjoying a beer or two while working on his cars in his garage. He loved watching the Green Bay Packers and trap shooting. Often times he would team up with Jeff, Dennis and friends to help someone in need.

Al is survived by his wife; Maryann Yekenewicz; his mother Rosemary Yekenewicz; his brothers: Nick Yekenewicz and Joe (Joyce) Yekenewicz; his sisters: Linda (Jerry) Seil and twin sister Alice (Howie) Feldmann; sister-in-law: Rosemary Pueschner; brotherin law: Robert Bafia.

He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and other relatives and many friends.

Al is also survived by the many children and grandchildren he took under his wing; Travis Thomas (Katie) and kids Taylor and Brody; Jessica (Ryan) Mccoy and kids Destiny, Riley, Haley and Addyson; Brandon (Sunny) Schweisthal and child Angela; J.R. Burnett; Amy Schreurs and kids Joel, Bryson and Ethan; Erik Schweisthal (Arcelia) and kids Analisa and Erik II; Pet dogs Duke and Angel.

He was preceded in death by his father; Peter Yekenewicz and brother; Thomas “Edison” Yekenewicz; Lucille Yekenewicz.

Memorial services were held on Friday Evening (Sept. 16, 2016) at 6:30 P.M. at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth.

Dale Miller officiated. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will be in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Town of Mitchell.

Visitation was held on Friday afternoon from 3:00 P.M at the Suchon Funeral Home until the time of services.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Allen’s name.
