Wade House partners with Habitat

Wade House Historic Site has partnered with Habitat for Humanity Lakeside to build a new history in Sheboygan County.

“We are excited about our new partnership with the Wade House,” said Dawn Eggers director of community for Habitat Lakeside. “This is a great example of how we can combine Sheboygan County’s past with the present; I love the many ways we can collaborate and come together to help a family build or repair a decent and affordable place they can call home. We are looking forward to moving forward with further ideas and programs with the Wade House in 2017.”

Habitat for Humanity Lakeside will be building in Plymouth this year, and broke ground Monday on a new home construction at 510 McColm St. This home will be the future home of Heather Russell and her family.

“Wade House Historic Site is happy to be partnering with Habitat for Humanity Lakeside and looks forward to helping build and revitalize our local community through rehabilitation and preservation of homes in Sheboygan County” said David Warner, Wade House director.

No construction skills are necessary to participate in this year’s project. To volunteer or donate, call 920-458-3399 or email loveinaction@habitatlakeside.com
