Area outdoor paintings displayed

Come and see the “Paintings of Plymouth, Elkhart Lake, and Greenbush.”

Artists from all over Wisconsin and beyond have been painting for a full week for this seventh annual “Paint the Towns, En Plein Air” event coordinated by artist Dan Rizzi of Plymouth as a fundraiser for the Plymouth Arts Center.

The public is invited to meet the artists, see the complete collection of paintings created, and have a chance to bid on their favorite pieces at the silent auc- tion, Friday night, September 30th from 6-9pm.

There will be complimentary appetizers, a cash bar and music. Admission for the “Paint the Towns” gala is free. This an opportunity to own an original painting of our beautiful area for your home or office, or as a unique gift.

Awards totaling over $2500 will be presented to winning artists at 6:45 p.m. The public may place a vote for the painting that best depicts Plymouth in the Viewer’s Choice category.

The winning Artist will receive the Postcard Award, meaning that postcards will be made from their painting and will be available for sale in the Plymouth Arts Center Gift Shop.

After the gala unsold paintings may be for sale at a fixed price with the artist’s permission on Saturday, October from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., or Sunday October 2nd from noon to 3 p.m.
