Renovating future Cheese Counter

Work is underway in earnest on the restoration of the vacant building at 133 E. Mill St. City and Redevelopment Authority offi- cials toured the building recently with architect Mark Pfaller and representatives of the contractor, Quasius Construction, to monitor the progress and go over plans and details. The upper floor of the building will be converted into two apartments, while the main floor and basement will eventually become the Plymouth Cheese Counter, a combination cheese store and cheese center, with displays and information on the history and present status of the cheese industry in the city of Plymouth and the surrounding area.
