Plymouth High School celebrated Homecoming all last week, including the big parade through downtown Plymouth Friday afternoon. Before the parade, Riverview students made the day special for one former teacher when they bused en masse to the home of Jeff Petrie, who was waging a battle against lymphoma, to give Petrie a special Homecoming of his own. Students also remembered Petrie in the Homecoming parade (cover). The parade featured bands, floats and recognition of alumni, including class members from 1941, 1958, 1966 and 1974 along with members of the PHS 1976 state football championship team.
