He was a very strong and faithful member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth where he served as a reader for many years.

Jeff served on the Board of Directors of the Plymouth Softball Association and on the Community Education Department board. His family was involved with AFS over the years and he enjoyed hosting students from other countries.

Jeff cherished spending time with his family, taking family vacations, working outside, and reading.

He also enjoyed watching and attending Brewers, Packers, and Bucks games, as well as various college and high school sporting events.

Those that he leaves behind to carry on his legacy and share his memories are his beloved wife of 25 years: Lori and his loving children: Mickenzie and Brady. His father: Jim Petrie of New Holstein, three brothers: Chuck (Beth) Petrie of Kiel, Rich (Joan) Petrie of Johnsburg and Tim (Penny) Petrie of New Holstein, His father-in-law: Don Haack of Sheboygan, His mother-in-law: Phyllis (Bill) Hendrickse of Sheboygan, and one sister-in-law: Shari (Jim) Holtan of Prior Lake, MN.
