Dale Frederick Nack, age 63, of Waldo, WI, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loved ones on Saturday evening October 1, 2016.

Dale was born on December 31, 1952 in Manitowoc, WI, a son of the late Fredrick and Evelyn (Karsteadt) Nack and was raised in a loving, supportive home by his mother and late stepfather, Robert Chuvan.

He graduated from Sheboygan South High School in 1970 and also attended Lakeshore Technical School in Manitowoc.

Dale was married to his beloved wife, Gail, on March 27, 1976, for 37 years. Gail passed away unexpectedly on January 18, 2012. Dale loved her dearly all his life.

Dale often commented on what a lucky man he was to have fallen deeply in love with two magnificent women in his lifetime. His longtime friendship with Christine Bertin grew into a loving and supportive partnership. They took wonderful care of one another and loved each other deeply.

Dale was employed by the Sheboygan County Comprehensive Health Center for over 36 years and retired from Rocky Knoll Health Care Facility in 2007.

Dale was a member of the NRA and his hobbies included a love of the outdoors, hunting, fishing, music, cars, and spending time with his many close friends. He was a kind, generous and selfless man. He was always the first to offer assistance to friends or family in need. He was deeply loved and he will be terribly missed.

Dale is survived by his partner: Christine Bertin, Sister: Margrit Witzack (Al), Stepson: Eric Hoogstra (Kathy), Stepdaughter: Heidi Hoogstra (Steve), Twin Grandsons: Abraham and Jacob Hoogstra, Stepsons: Garrik and Ryan Bertin and Stepdaughter: Katharine Bertin.
