Classic Country coming to Weill

A Tribute to Classic Country Music by The Legendaires Show Band is coming to the Stefanie H. Weill Center, 826 N. Eighth St., Sheboygan, for one show only, Saturday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m.

Enjoy an evening of Western Swing, the Honky-Tonk Heroes, the Nashville Sound, the Bakersfield Sound and the Outlaw Movement. Tap your boots and get back to your Classic Country Music roots.

Along with the Legendaires Show Band members, Dave Garcia, Tony Garcia, Reggie McGee, some dynamic musicians join them. Steel and dobro guitar player Leroy Deuster, who performed at Earnest Tubb’s Midnight Jamboree in Nashville, and drummer Gary Wiesner, who played at the Grand Ole Opry, will also enhance the show. They will be joined by Julie Johnson on the keyboards and Dan Fearn on fiddle

The Legendaires Show Band singers Lindasue Saballus, Tom Saballus, Dean Joecks and Danny J will be joined by Andrea Marie Roth, a talented singer and actress who has performed throughout the United States.

The show will feature a special tribute to Nashville recording artist Jean Shepherd, who just recently passed away. This group will make a memorable evening of classic country music, including hits by Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn, Tom T. Hall, Leroy Van Dyke, Charlie Daniels, Alabama, Charlie Pride, Ferlin Huskey, Tammy Wynette, George Jones, Waylon Jennings, Hank Williams and more.
