Patricia M “Pat”Ten Pas, 87, of Plymouth, WI passed away peacefully on Monday evening (Oct. 17, 2016) at the Sharon S. Richardson Hospice in Sheboygan Falls surrounded by her loving family.

Pat was born on December 27, 1928 in Random Lake, WI, a daughter of the late John and Verna (Kies) McKenna.

She attended St. Mary Catholic Grade School in Random Lake and graduated from Random Lake High School in 1946.

On October 30, 1948, she married Clayton Harms Ten Pas at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Random Lake.

The couple celebrated 63 years of marriage before Clayton passed away on January 18, 2012.

She worked at Amity Leather in West Bend and Barku Lumber Company in Random Lake. Pat helped her husband run his business, Ten Pas Transport, for many years as his bookkeeper.

Pat was a faithful member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth where she sang in the classic choir for many years and also belonged to the Christian Mothers Society in the church where she helped served many funeral meals. She was a Eucharistic Minister to the nursing homes and home bound for many years.

As a member of the Daughters of Isabella Marquette Circle for 67 years, she served as Regent for three years, Financial Secretary four years, Treasurer six years (two different terms), Senior Auditor four years and as state treasurer for the State of Wisconsin Daughters of Isabella. Pat also served as a delegate to the International Convention to the home of Daughters of Isabella in New Haven, Connecticut and also got the opportunity to be a guest at Washington D.C. and Montreal, Canada conventions.

She volunteered at Rocky Knoll for Bingo and many other projects for many years. She also volunteered at the St. Vincent Store and became a Eucharistic Minister to the Nursing Home and Home bound and had many fund raisers for charities.

Pat loved quilting, sewing and raised beautiful violets.

Survivors include: Four Children: John Ten Pas of De Moines, Iowa, Jeanine Garcia (Fiancv©: Warren Tosh) of Round Lake, IL, Kay (Don) Stenz of Cleveland, WI, and Laurie (Freddy) Rivera of La Jara, CO.

Five Grandchildren: Jennifer (Jeff) Heimerman of Texas, Karla (Frank) Eguez of Springfield, IL,

Christina (Josh) Van Hoof of Toutle, WA, Ariyl Stenz (special friend Tony Weimer) of Fond du Lac and Josh Stenz of Port Washington. Fifteen Great Grandchildren. One Sister-in-law: Ruth (Walter) Friedman of Random Lake and special friend: Alice of Cedar Bay Assisted Living.

She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Clayton, One Daughter-in-law: Loretta

Ten Pas and two brothers: Roger (Audrey) McKenna and Kenneth McKenna.

Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday (October 22, 2016) at 12:00 Noon at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth. Father Dennis Van Beek will officiate. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Saturday morning (October 22) at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Pat’s name.
