All four divers were strong. We had best times in all our relays and some great individual swims,” said Panther head coach Dave Coley.

“Our girls battled all afternoon and I was very proud of them. Now it’s time to focus on the sectional meet and see who we can take to state. We will have to swim faster than ever before but we have one more week to taper and anything is possible.”

PHS will host a Division 2 sectional this weekend. Diving will be held Friday at 5:30 p.m. and swimming is scheduled for Saturday at 2 p.m.

Senior Savannah Arneson led the PHS divers with a runner-up finish as she scored a season-best 363.65 points for 11 dives.

Senior Lauren Boos, a senior at Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah, took first in the 50 freestyle for Kiel/EL-G with a time of 25.22 seconds. Boos placed second in the 100 butterfly in 1:03.27.

Lauren and sister Meredith, a freshman at EL-G, swam on the winning 200 freestyle relay which was clocked in 1:44.36. Lauren was a member of the second-place 200 medley relay.
