Music, stories on tap in free performances

Join the Plymouth Arts Center on Sunday, November 20, 2016 from 1:00pm to 2:30pm for this ever-expanding spoken word open mic performance, "Speak Up!" Come and be part of the evolution! Admission is free.

Each participant will have five minutes to share poems, a story, or an excerpt from a longer piece. Share comedy, drama, or personal memoir. We are looking for a blend of all different genres that can include your original work, or something you would like to share by a favorite poet or prose writer.

Plymouth Arts Center’s next Acoustic Open Mic will be held on Friday, November 4th, 2016 from 6 to 10pm. Doors will open at 6pm, with the open mic beginning promptly at 7pm. Whether you are a musician or just like to listen, you will enjoy this casual evening of diverse music and styles. The event is free and open to the public. Everyone is welcome! Visitors may bring a snack or dessert to share.
