Linda Wisniewski, age 74, died November 7, 2016 after a short stay at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.

Linda began her journey through life in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of Milton and Doris Harrison. Linda’s journey resulted in her living in many places including Brooklyn where she lived in an apartment building surrounded by extended family; Teaneck, New Jersey where she lived from 11 years of age until she graduated high school; Buffalo, New York and then Ann Arbor, Michigan where she attended college (Go Blue!); Denmark where she lived for a year; Boston and Los Angeles where she worked with autistic children; Chicago where she raised her daughters and met her husband; and finally Plymouth where she loved the opportunity to enjoy the peace and quiet of her surroundings.

Linda loved caring for others and did so through her work as a nurse and later as a parent educator for the Family Resource Center. Linda spread her love and light through her ministry services at Pathways of Light. Linda loved counseling others and performing marriage ceremonies for people throughout Wisconsin and the world. Linda never forgave her Brooklyn Dodgers for moving but later became a Cubs fan and enjoyed many games during the time she lived in Wrigleyville. Linda was able to celebrate their World Series Championship. Linda had a passion for travelling, exploring new places, and meeting new people. So many people have been touched by the love, wisdom, laughter, and light Linda shared with the world.

Linda will be missed by all but especially by her husband, David; her daughters, Lisa and Nicole; her son-in-law, Eric; her grandchildren, Ben, Mia, and Eliana; and her brother Phillip and his family.

A memorial service will be held on December 3rd at Generations in Plymouth, Wisconsin. We ask that you come and share a meal and a toast in Linda’s honor. We will begin to gather at 5:45 p.m. and share a meal at 6:30 p.m. Please feel free to bring a story and a dessert to share.
