Blind Horse serves community meal

The Blind Horse, restaurant and winery in Kohler will be hosting a free Thanksgiving meal for those in need on Thanksgiving Day in the Winery. Those interested must secure their time and spot by calling (920) 204-5111.

“The idea of the LOVE FEAST came right from our owners, Bob and Connie Moeller,” says Marketing Director Sandy Leske. “They wholeheartedly care for those in our community who are struggling and they wanted to do something to ensure that everyone who would not otherwise have a Thanksgiving meal, has that meal and a place to go.”

The LOVE FEAST is open to those who are experiencing financial hardship or are without family. The sign-up process is as easy as a phone call. Folks who want to come for a Thanksgiving meal must call to reserve their time. No walk-ins will be allowed.

The LOVE FEAST will run from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. in The Blind Horse Winery on Thanksgiving Day. The capacity will be about 75 people per hour with total capacity to serve 500 total during that time.

Volunteers are still needed for the day as well. Folks who would like to volunteer can sign up at this link. go/30e0a45a4a922abfd0-thanksgiving.

“Since day one, this event has been a collaborative effort between The Blind Horse, LOVE Inc. and Plymouth Alliance Church,” says Leske. “We could not have done this without such strong and compassionate partners.”
