Weill Center names Houser, Reles to Board of Directors

The Stefanie H. Weill Center for the Performing Arts is pleased to announce two new members to the Weill Center Foundation, Inc. Board of Directors: Michael Houser, CEO Cascio Interstate Music and Richard Reles, Management Consultant, Kohler Co.

Houser has assisted in guiding the Weill Center’s artist financial budgeting, programming and strategies for the past two seasons in his Director role at the Weill, in conjunction with the BOD and Weill Center Teams. “His experience and influence in the performing arts industry has been a great asset to the Weill Center and will bring important viewpoints to the Board,” said Steven Schmitt, President, Weill Center Foundation Board of Directors.

Houser has agreed to continue in his artistic director capacity and act as a spokesperson on behalf of the Weill Center in conjunction with the president and executive committee, for Major Gift Fund Development and Programming purposes, as needed.

“Mike truly is our man behind the music working his magic in negotiating many of the artists for the Weill Center. I am thrilled to welcome him to the Board and confident is great asset to our planning and discussions,” said Schmitt.

Reles is a Leadership Development Consultant for Kohler, CO and is joining the Weill Center Board of Directors to provide his leadership and strategic thinking skills to enhance and expand the Board’s profes- sional needs. “As we move forward in our Strategic Planning initiative, I can think of no one more equipped to help us stay the course in developing our organization, board and staff,” said Schmitt.
