GLENN A. WILLADSEN

Glenn A. Willadsen, age 82, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away peacefully at home on Monday afternoon, November 14, 2016.

He was born in Sheboygan Falls on August 27, 1934, son of the late John “Jack” and Norma (Ninnemann) Willadsen.

Glenn graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1952 and served in the United States Air Force from 1952-1958 during the Korean War.

On March 26, 1960, he married Fritzie Arpke in Sheboygan. The couple has resided in Sheboygan Falls since their marriage.

Glenn worked at Sheboygan County Hospital for several years. He later worked in sales for Taylor Electric in Mequon, and retired from Franzen Litho Screen in Sheboygan in 2001.

He was a member of the Sheboygan Elks #299 in Sheboygan, the Friedrichs- Mueller-Norgaard American Legion Post #149 in Sheboygan Falls. He was also a current member of the Quit Qui Oc Golf Club.

Glenn enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers and was a season ticket holder for over 55 years. He also enjoyed golfing, traveling, and spending time with his loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years: Fritzie of Sheboygan Falls; Three children: Kelly (Bob) Mauer of Sheboygan Falls, Marnee Revri of Raleigh, NC, and Torre Willadsen of Sheboygan Falls; Four grandchildren: Seth (Erin) Mauer of Sheboygan Falls, Chelsey (Justin) Luft of Plymouth, Tess Mauer of Sheboygan Falls, and Ayesha Revri of Raleigh, NC; Three great-grandchildren: Ariana, Gabrielle, and Caroline; Two sisters: Jackie Wagner of Kiel and Sally (Tom) Reinmann of Hayward, WI; One brother-in-law: Ray (D’Arcy) Arpke of Longboat Key, FL; and One sister-in-law: Judy Arpke of Sheboygan Falls.

He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother: John Willadsen, sister: Betty Sippel, and brothers-in-laws: Harold “Butch” Arpke and Fredrik Wagner.

Following Glenn’s wishes cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Monday November 28, 2016 at 6 PM at Holy Community Church, 2916 S. 11th St. Sheboygan, WI 53081. Pastor Michael Lueke will officiate.

Visitation will be at Hope Community Church on Monday November 28, 2016 from 4 PM to 6 PM, the time of services.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Glenn’s name.
