Arlene Lindow, age 96, of Plymouth, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016, at Rocky Knoll where she had been a resident for the past 2 months.

She was born on August 6, 1920 in the Town of Lyndon, the daughter of the late Louis H.M. and Arlisle Butters Ford.

Arlene attended grade school in the Town of Lyndon and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1938.

On September 21, 1940 she married Norman Lindow at United Brethren Church in Cascade. They owned and operated the Lindow Homestead Farm for 32 years after which they moved to Green Lake and were in home construction for 10 years. They returned to the Plymouth area in 1982 and were well known for their craft business. Norman preceded her in death on June 13, 2014.

She was a member of Community United Church of Christ in Elkhart Lake, a former member of its Evening Circle and a Choir member. She was also a member of Farm Bureau and Plymouth AARP.

After Norman passed away, Arlene was able to stay at home with Radica Ninikj, a live-in caregiver hired by the family until September of this year.

Arlene appreciated the overseeing of her care and the friendship given to Radica by her two nephews and their wives: Dave Ford and Barb Wehrle, and Jim and Deanna Lindow.

Also, a huge thank you to her niece Laurie Ford for making Arlene’s transition to Rocky Knoll a comfortable one. She spent almost every day helping Arlene and it was greatly appreciated.

She is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death her husband: Norman, parents, brother: Elwyn (Ione) Ford, and two sisters: Evelyn (Emery) Blenker and Maida (Edward) Damrow.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday (November 30, 2016) at 11:00 A.M. at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth.

Visitation will take place at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth on Wednesday (Nov. 30) from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services.

Cremation will take place following the services and Inurnment will be in the Gardens of Peace Mausoleum at Greenlawn Memorial Park in the Town of Sheboygan.
