ELIZABETH A. BEYER

Elizabeth A. “Betty” Beyer, age 89, of Adell, passed away peacefully at Kindred Hearts in Plymouth on Monday, January 2, 2017, with her family by her side.

She was born in Sheboygan on June 19, 1927, daughter of the late Noah Sr. and Emma (Fett) Zuengler.

Betty graduated from Plymouth High School in 1945.

On July 23, 1948, she married Fred Beyer at St. John Lutheran Church in Sherman Center. The couple resided in Adell following their marriage. Fred preceded her in death on August 25, 2012.

Betty worked many years at the West Bend Company until her retirement.

She was a lifelong member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Adell, where she served with the Ladies Aid.

She enjoyed gardening, reading, and spending time with her loving family, especially babysitting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Betty is survived by four children: Carol Beyer of Sheboygan, Kathy (Marlen) Baerenwald of Atlanta, GA, Nancy (Mark) Eberhardt of Plymouth, and Dean Beyer of Adell; Three grandchildren: Stacey (Brett) Pleune of Mt. Airy, MD, Stephanie (Robert Jr.) Perl of Sheboygan, and Troy Burmesch (special friend: Ann) of Green Bay; Six great-grandchildren: Riley, Tyler, Colin, Chloe, Robert III, and Victoria; Three sisters: Irene Blanke of Adell, Lenore (Roy) Sande of Denver, CO, and Carol (Gerald) Schuler of Lafeyette, CO; Two sisters-in-law: Mary Ann Zuengler of Plymouth and Elenore (Leonard) Heimermann of Hartford, WI; and Two brothers-in-law: Pete Aragon of Edgewater, CO and Roland Kelly of Snohomisch, WA.

She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters: Margaret (James) Kramer and Marion Aragon, brother: Noah Zuengler Jr., brothers-inlaw: Earl Blanke and Oscar Beyer, and sisters-in-law: Viola Kelly and Evelyn Beyer.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday (January 7, 2017) at 1:00 P.M. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Adell. Rev. Christopher Seifferlein, Pastor of the Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Adell.

Visitation will take place at the church on Saturday (Jan. 7) from 11:00 A.M. until the time of services.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Betty’s name for Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
