BARBARA J. WIMMLER

Barbara J. “Barb” Wimmler, 73, of Plymouth, WI passed away early Saturday Morning (January 7, 2017) at St. Lukes Medical Center in Milwaukee.

She was born on September 1, 1943 in Plymouth, WI, a daughter of the late Roland and Ruth (Schwenzen) Hausler.

Barb graduated from Plymouth High School in 1961.

On May 20, 1978, she married Gerald A. Wimmler in Plymouth. The couple resided in Plymouth since their marriage.

She was employed at Dairy Farmers of America and retired in 2007 after 36 years.

Barb was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth and helped with the newsletter at the church. She also volunteered for many years at Rocky Knoll Health Care Facility.

She enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards with Jerry, gardening, cooking, baking and watching birds.

Barb is survived by her husband of 38 years: Jerry of Plymouth; Children: Kirby (Bonnie) Post of Sheboygan Falls, Colleen (Randy) Ferguson of Plymouth, Wayne Wimmler of Wyoming, Warren (Kathy Wimmler of Colorado; Two brothers: Ronald Hausler of Plymouth, Ralph (Karen) Hausler of Plymouth; Three sisters: Rogean (Henry) Kattre of Kiel, Donna Richardson of Sheboygan Falls, Paulette Hausler (Mark) of Sheboygan Falls; Grandchildren: Randy Post, Max Post, Steven (Nicole) Wimmler, Brieanna (Joshua) Wiggins, Ryan (Amy) Wimmler, Brandon (Mandy) Wimmler; Nine Great-Grandchildren; Brother-in-law: Carl (Charlene) Wimmler of Plymouth; Sisters-in-laws: Joann Kimbrell of Florida and Barbara Hauslar of Illinois.

She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Barb is preceded in death by her parents and one brother; Jerry Hausler and all her canine companions.

Memorial Services will be held on Thursday afternoon (January 12, 2017) at 3:00 P.M. at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Rev. Nathan Meador, Pastor of St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth will officiate.

Cremation has taken place and inurnment will take place in the Garden of Peace Mausoleum in the Town of Sheboygan Falls.

Visitation will be held at the Suchon Funeral Home on Thursday (Jan. 12) from 12:00 Noon until the time of services.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Barb’s name.
