Arm-Care Clinic Jan. 21

The second annual Arm-Care Clinic for baseball and softball players will be held Jan. 21 at Lakeland University’s Todd Wehr Center.

The clinic will focus on the many variables associated with proper throwing mechanics for baseball and softball players, along with prevention techniques to keep players’ arms healthy throughout the season. From youths to college, parents, players and coaches from all venues will learn something new.

This free clinic is intended for parents and coaches of all levels. The instruction is sport-specific and can be utilized for athletes of all ages. The clinic will run from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m.

Among the speakers at the clinic are Chad Zehms, M.D., Prevea orthopedic sports medicine surgeon; Brandon Magee, Sheboygan North graduate and former pro baseball pitcher; Mike Bachar, Lakeland University head baseball coach; and Brandon Schlotthauer, Green Bay Athletics strength and conditioning coach.
