Reedsville improved to 2-7 in the Big East Conference (5-8 overall). The Resorters dropped to 1-9 in the BEC (3-11 overall).

Elkhart trailed only 41-36 with about eight minutes left. The Panthers outscored the Resorters 28-15 the rest of the way.

“The kids played very hard but ran out of gas late in the game. It was our fourth game in six days,” said Resorter head coach Ray Mlada.

“Their size and athleticism wore us down. We are not built to handle that many games in a week’s period. The kids really battled. I was very proud of their effort.”
