The sweet taste of helping a good cause



Chocolate was the theme and aid for mission work in Haiti was the goal Sunday as St. John Lutheran Church held their annual A Taste of Chocolate benefit event at a new location, Amore banquet hall. While the wide selection of decadent homemade chocolate items was the focal point, there were also gift baskets with take-home pricing, hand-crafted fair-trade items from Haiti and more available. The Smooth Groove jazz duo provided music for the event, with proceeds going to LESPWA International, a Haiti Mission Inc.
