Margaret Ailine (Helton) Phelps peacefully passed away to be with Jesus, her Lord and Savior, early Friday morning Feb. 10th. She was born and grew up near Corbin KY.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Aaron and Cora Mae (Engle) Helton, her husband of 44 years Leo John Phelps, Chester (Vivian) Helton, Pat (Liza May) Helton, Esom (Mossie) Helton, Wesley Helton and Bessie Helton.

She is survived by her sisters Anna (Jessie) McKeehan, Edith (Frank) Baker, children, John (Annette) Phelps of Plymouth, WI, Christine Neubauer of Plymouth, WI, Kevin (Rosemary) of Buttlerville, OH, 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Margaret was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Port Washington WI until she moved to Ohio where she eventually became a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church of South Lebanon, OH.

Margaret was a sweet country girl who liked the outdoors and loved children very much. She loved gardening and spending time with her loved family more than anything. She was a very sacrificial person who was always willing to help those in need. She accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior at an early age and went to her new home in Heaven.

The funeral services were held at Stine Kilbourn Funeral Home of Lebanon OH Feb. 16. Mike Curry officiated with the burial at Murdoch Cemetery in Mainville, OH.
