Foundation grant provides art opportunities

The Plymouth High School art department recently worked with guest artist Charna Schwartz, who demonstrated working on the pottery wheel to three independent study students. The experience was made possible by a $3,000 grant from the Plymouth Education Foundation, which also will bring painter Paula Swayden-Grebel to work with independent study students and the Draw/Paint 1 class taught by Lisa Keys. The grant also will cover two field trips this spring, to the Milwaukee Art Museum and to the Chicago Art Institute.
