Walter “Wally” Goddard, age 79, of Plymouth, passed away on Wednesday (March 1, 2017) at St. Luke’s Hospital in Milwaukee.

He was born in Colby, WI on August 12, 1937, son of the late Phillip and Barbara (Reigel) Godard.

Wally served in the United States Air Force (Air Police).

He worked at Kohler Company for 34 years, retiring in 2000. He was a member of the UAW 833 in Sheboygan.

On September 4, 1981, he married Alice McCormick.

Wally enjoyed fishing, hunting, reading, watching westerns, and spending time with his family (especially his grandchildren).

He is survived by: His wife: Alice of Plymouth; Three children: Allan (Brenda) of Sheboygan, Ann (Gary) Gottowski of Sheboygan and Jackie (Joe) Johnston of Sheboygan; Four stepchildren: David Emmer of Sheboygan, Daniel Emmer of Buffalo, NY, Janelle (Randy) Reineking of Sheboygan, and Chad Emmer (Pam) of Plymouth; and Special grandson: Andrew Emmer (Lauri) of Plymouth.

He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters, other relatives, and many friends.

Wally was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Following Wally’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
