MARIE J. HELD

Marie J. Held, 95, of Cascade passed away on Monday morning, March 6, 2017 at Anita’s Garden in Plymouth.

In retirement she volunteered with the Plymouth Hospital Auxiliary in the gift shop and then answering phones and helping where needed at Generations. Marie especially loved flowers and her gardens along with a variety of crafts.

Marie is survived by her three children, Byron (Nancy) Held, Jr. of Crivitz, Kay “Cookie” (Joe) Schneider of Cascade and LuAnn “Betsy” (Jon) Chisholm of Ormond Beach, FL; her grandchildren, David (Lisa) Held, Barry (Leslie) Held, Eric (Lisa) Held, Joe (Dawn) Schneider, Jr., Leesa Melis (fiance, Dave Block), Jamie Schneider (significant other, Renee Hall) Chad (Meredith) Chisholm; great grandchildren, Connor and Hayes Chisholm, Luke, Cole and Hannah Held, Seth Fuller, Josh Bomberg, Heather Schneider, Zachary and Nicholas Melis, Amanda Hawkins, Noah, Elizabeth and Emma Schneider; and two great-great grandchildren, Jacee Fuller and Jamus Hawkins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Byron, grandson Christopher Chisholm, a brother, William Eggebeen; six brothers-in law and Five sisters-in-law and her special friends, Jean Miller and Wilma Dettman

A memorial service for Marie will be held 3 P.M., Saturday, March 11 at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Waldo with Rev. Denise Kwiatkowski pastor, as officiant. Family and friends may gather at the church, 425 Lyndon Street, Waldo from 2 P.M. until the time of service at 3 P.M.
