Y-Koda slates girls, dolls social

Registrations are now being accepted for the 21st annual Camp Y-Koda Girls and Dolls Ice Cream Social set for Saturday, April 1.

Two sessions will be offered at either 9-11:30 a.m. or 1-3:30 p.m. in the Johnsonville Lodge at Camp Y-Koda. The theme for this year’s event is “Under the Sea.”

Participants are encouraged to dress themselves and their dolls to match the theme.

The event also includes raffles for doll clothes and refreshments, including ice cream, a sundae bar, homemade cookies and punch.

Those wishing to attend, are invited to register in advance at the Sheboygan YMCA or Sheboygan Falls YMCA.

The event will include a fashion show for the girls and their dolls (optional).

The master of ceremonies will describe the girls’ and dolls’ outfits as they parade with their doll down the isle. There will be no judging of the participants.

Two American Girl Dolls and doll outfits will be raffled off at both the morning and afternoon sessions.

The dolls for raffle are an 18-inch Gabriela (girl of the year), or 18-inch Tenney.

All proceeds benefit the Camp Y-Koda Annual Support Campaign.

For more information, call Camp Y-Koda at 467-6882.

Registration forms are available at the Sheboygan YMCA and Sheboygan Falls YMCA.
