Wieck honored as Bryant Community Hero

Linda Wieck of Plymouth (center) has been named the 2016 Bryant Community Hero winner from this area. She received a new Bryant high efficiency gas furnace for her home, which was installed by Four Seasons Comfort technicians Jeremy Lensmire (left) and Mike Novak.

Four Seasons, a Plymouth-based heating and cooling contractor, and Bryant Heating & Cooling Systems teamed up to honor a local community hero who does “whatever it takes” to make a positive impact in their community. This hero demonstrates how a person with passion and determination can use their time and energy to make a difference in the lives of others.

Wieck was nominated by Jeffrey Lubach, also of Plymouth. Lubach saw an ad by Four Seasons Comfort in the local paper and took the time to visit BryantCommunityHeroes.com to nominate Wieck and recognize her as a local unsung hero from our area.

Lubach wrote: “Linda started and runs the Camo Quilt Project for members in the armed services. She started this project by making a few quilts for her son-inlaw and my brother-in-law who were stationed overseas during the Gulf War. It has since grown into a three-day-a-week job with volunteers providing quilts to our servicemen and also to veterans in nursing homes all free of charge. She has provided training to other groups around the country to do the same. She has given countless hours to make a difference to our men and women serving our country.”
