Copper Box at JMKAC Saturday

Known for their “squeeze-box rock,” Copper Box returns to the John Michael Kohler Arts Center in Sheboygan, Saturday, April 1, 7–10 p.m., for an energy-filled, April Fools night out.

“It’s a great mix of live music, culture and cocktails,” said Ann Brusky, senior manager of public programs at the Arts Center. “Do a little dancing, enjoy the exhibitions in the galleries, meet up with friends and unwind.”

Based in Oshkosh, Copper Box combines roots-music influences from Cajun, zydeco, rock and polka traditions in their performances of original and covered material. As one music journalist commented, “(Copper Box) … as refreshing as a cool spring breeze blowing new life into a stuffy room … worth checking out!”

Band members include Danny Jerabek, button accordion and vocals; Michelle Jerabek, vocals and saxophones; Dave Chyla, bass; and Dan Cable, drums.

Tickets are $15 ($10 for Arts Center members); must be age 21 or over. For more information and tickets, call the Arts Center at 920-458-6144 or visit jmkac.org.
