Margaret A. Nesemann, age 90, formerly of Plymouth, passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning (April 4, 2017) at Pine Haven Christian Home where she had been a resident for the past 10 years.

She was born on January 24, 1927 in Sheboygan Falls, WI, a daughter of Netherland Immigrants, the late Arnold and Madeline (Van Dixhorn) Eggebeen.

Margaret graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1945.

On August 14, 1948, she married her high school sweet heart and love of her life, Bernard H. Nesemann at First Reformed Church in Sheboygan Falls. The couple resided in Racine for several years before moving to Sheboygan Falls and then settling in Plymouth. The couple owned and operated Nesemann Jewelry Store in Plymouth for 34 years until they retired in 1994. For eight years they wintered in Homossassa, FL. Bernard preceded her in death on January 11, 2002.

She was a member of the Crystal Lake Golf League, where she loved golfing with her daughter Chris and also bowled at Casey Lanes in Plymouth. She also enjoyed her weekly shopping trips with her daughter Teri and the many travels she and Bernie did with their daughter Ann.

Margaret enjoyed cross stitch, reading, watching any kind of sports, especially golf and the Green Bay Packers, and most importantly spending time with her family. Margaret also had a strong, silent faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

She is survived by her two daughters: Teri (Tom) Konz of Howards Grove, Ann (Jeff) VandeHey of Brillion; Ten grandchildren: Maggie Wieser (Special friend: Yovani Ferrera) of Milwaukee, Jeremy (Elissa) Nesemann of Sheboygan, Christopher (Kelly) Nesemann of West Bend, Alex (Ashley) Nesemann of Plymouth, Madeline Nesemann (Special friend: Robert Paese) of Madison, Jason (Kristen) Konz of Howards Grove, Lindsay Konz(Special friend: Ron Turner) of Miami, FL, Jeffrey (Danielle) Konz of Sheboygan Falls, Chloe and Derek VandeHey of Brillion; Six great grandchildren with one due in June; One daughter-in-law: Mary Nesemann of Plymouth; One son-in-law: James (Penny) Wieser of Plymouth; Two sisters-in-law: Helen Carlson of Homossassa, FL, and Verna Eggebeen of Plymouth.

Margaret is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; One daughter: Christine Wieser; One son: Michael Nesemann; Two grandchildren: Bernard Cletus Wieser and Brittany Marie Konz; Two brothers: Jacob and Rolland Eggebeen; Two brothers-in-law: Ted (Jan) Nesemann and William Nesemann.

Private family funeral services will be held on Friday (April 7, 2017). Rev. David Van Dixhorn will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Margaret’s name.
