PHS cruises to JV soccer win

PLYMOUTH – Kalani Smith scored two goals to lead the Plymouth Panthers to a 6-1 romp over visiting Waupun in an East Central Conference junior varsity girls soccer match April 11.

Dallas Kriesa, Azure Maki, Katie Heun and Amanda Triebensee tallied one goal each for the Panthers. Smith, Anna Kitzerow, Katie Pocian and Caitlin McEvoy had one assist apiece.

PHS goalie Jordyn Anderson made three saves.

“We played well in the midfield. We connected some great strings of passes that really made Waupun chase us around,” said PHS coach John Lenz.

In earlier-season matches, PHS defeated Slinger and Sheboygan South by 1-0 scores, and tied Sheboygan North, 1-1. Triebensee, Smith and Maki scored one goal each in the three matches combined.
