The nonconference loss dropped the Panthers’ record to 2-10. The Blue Dukes improved to 3-6.

PHS led 6-5 going into the seventh. Gretchen Stock’s grand slam ignited Whitefish Bay’s outburst in the frame. The Blue Dukes took advantage of five walks and one hit batter in the seventh.

The Panthers, who were missing four varsity players (one due to an injury and the other three because of other commitments), were hurt by seven errors.

“Once again, our defensive errors killed us,” said PHS head coach Dawn Krebsbach.
