Hiring efforts to be explained

Hiring activities in Sheboygan County are accelerating; with the diversity of career opportunities available for both skilled and unskilled positions, employment opportunities have arguably never been better here.

The biggest challenge is often breaking through the barrier of on-line hiring systems and some employer’s staffing agencies to engage directly with the highest levels at local companies to connect with career opportunities.

Inspire Sheboygan, working in cooperation with Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation, has developed a venue to help parents and youth to learn more directly from employers.

The essence of the May 3 event at 6:30 p.m. at Blue Harbor Resort is to share some of the great things going on in Sheboygan County that make this a great place to live and work. There will be a panel discussion engaged upon the energy that major employers in several different employment sectors are putting forth to attract and sustain the necessary workforce to keep the Sheboygan County economy surging.

Employers including Kohler Co., Sargento, and Rockline, to name a few, are scheduled to attend.
