The Panthers raised their ECC-leading record to 6-0 (7-1-1 overall). The shutout was Plymouth’s fifth in league play. PHS has won six matches in a row.

The Indians fell to 1-4 in the ECC (2-4 overall).

PHS built a 5-0 halftime lead, led by Heyrman’s two goals. Gosse, Ellie Welsch and Josie Binder added one goal each in the opening half. Plymouth led 4-0 only 18 minutes into the match.

Gosse and Jayda Martell tallied one goal each in the second half.

Kaylee Koenig led PHS in assists with two. Sydney Robinson, Gosse, Sam Meyer and Savannah Wiese had one apiece.

The Panthers dominated on offense with a 20-3 lead in shots on goal. PHS goalies Meyer and Heyrman combined for three saves. Indian goalies Taylor Cook and Paige Airaudi teamed up for 13 saves.

“We got out to an early lead and were able to keep Kewaskum from generating dangerous opportunities. We were able to hold possession effi- ciently throughout the game – moving the ball through the midfield and defense,” said Panther head coach Brad Feick.

“I liked how we worked to make runs from the outside and to work the goal line. Savannah Wiese made a fantastic pass late in the game to Martell [for a goal] who was crashing in from the center mid position.

“Skyler Gosse, Taylor Heyrman, Ellie Welsch and Josie Binder all scored goals from outside the 18. We wanted to practice setting scoring opportunities up from a little farther away this game. We were able to continue developing as a team,” said Feick.
