Health care

To the Editor:

When legislation regarding health care passed the House (with many members not even reading the complex bill), we have every right to question how business is done in Washington. The most disturbing idea that is considered – not covering pre-existing conditions! That coverage would be denied to a large segment of our country. Many would suffer loss of homes, and even more detrimental, the loss of many lives because affordability of treatment would be gone. Talk to your representatives about what a dangerous precedent that would be. We seniors are affected now as we haven’t gotten a raise in over three years, and worsening it by denying coverage for our very basic needs
