Senior forward Camrie Schmitz ignited the Resorters’ offense with four goals. Freshman midfielder Sofie Sutcliffe scored EL-G’s other goal.

Elkhart raised its Big East Conference record to 7-8 (10-8 overall). The Rams fell to 2-11- 2 in the BEC (3-12-2 overall).

“Lauren Boos and Kayla Theel played very well in middle tonight – stepping to the ball and forcing Random into bad passing situations,” said Resorter head coach Kevin Ruh.

“Sofie Sutcliffe continues to work hard opposite Camrie and attacks the ball, pushing it forward. Defensively, Shynaia Higgins has had a great year cleaning up the opponents’ runs and keeping them outside until help can arrive to cover the center of the field.”
