Wings & Wheels on Father’s Day

The Sheboygan County Aviation Heritage Center in Sheboygan Falls is set to host the 27th annual Wings and Wheels event, sponsored by EAA Chapter 766, on Father’s Day Sunday, June 18.

The free event, which runs from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., is expected to draw a large crowd to the Sheboygan County Memorial Airport grounds to view more than 70 vintage automobiles and 30 unique aircraft.

The popular family-friendly event also features airplane and helicopter rides, radio-controlled airplanes, model trains, flight simulators and car and tractor displays, as well aviation-related displays, kids' activities and food trucks from throughout the Sheboygan area.

The event, which draws between 8,000 and 10,000 people to the airport grounds, will also include a diverse collection of antique and war bird airplanes, as well as interactive kids' displays.

In addition, the Wings and Wheels Car Show typically showcases a diverse collection of antique, show and high-performance cars.

An all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast will run from 7 to 10:30 a.m.
