KEITH JEROME KING

Keith Jerome King passed away peacefully at Sharon S. Richardson Hospice Facility on Thursday (June 22, 2017).

He was born on January 19, 1936, son of the late P. Harold and Grace (Darling) King.

Keith was raised on the family farm in the Town of Mitchell, which has been in the family well over 100 years.

He attended school in the one room school house, where his mother taught. The school house is still a part of the family farm today.

On October 24, 1964, he married Patricia Reinhardt at St. Eugene’s Catholic Church in Fox Point, WI.

He worked for State of Wisconsin Highway Department for 40 years, retiring in 2011. In retirement he enjoyed his grandchildren, cutting wood with his chainsaw, and his beloved breakfast friends.

Keith was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Parish.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years: Patricia Lynn King; Three children: Robert (Val) King and his children Rachel and Hannah, Katherine (Rodney) Manthey and their son Kristopher, Jennifer (Scott) Tannehill and their daughter Sophia; Sister: Barbara (Joseph) Russell; and Two Sisters-in-law: Holly (Fred) Schmitt and Delores King.

He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Keith is preceded in death by his parents and Brother: Harold King.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday (June 30, 2017) at 6:00 P.M. at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church, W1562 County Rd B, Eden, WI. Father Mark Jones will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Mitchell.

Visitation will take place on Friday (June 30) at Shepherd of the Hills Parish from 3:00 P.M. until the time of Mass.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested in Keith’s name for Shepherd of the Hills School Scholarship Fund and Sharon S. Richardson Hospice.
