Lee Brian Fiedler passed away unexpectedly at his parents’ home in Plymouth, WI on June 25, 2017 of a heart condition. He was 52 years old.

Lee was born on January 20, 1965 in West Allis, WI and was the youngest son of Bruce & Hope (Gunem) Fiedler. He graduated from Plymouth High School in 1983. He graduated from UW-Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He worked as a licensed professional engineer for many years. He has numerous patents to his name.

Lee was a devoted son and caregiver to his parents as they aged. He spent the last 3 years residing with them to care for them. Like his father, he was a lover of cars and was an expert auto mechanic. He was the family resource for auto purchasing, maintenance, and repair. Not only could he fix cars, he could fix “anything.” He devoted many hours to helping his siblings, nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends with any project presented to him. Lee was a gifted and self-taught musician. He played drums, guitar and piano without ever taking a lesson.

Lee was the beloved, fun uncle in the family. His unique sense of humor and willingness to help everyone will be his legacy.

Lee is survived by his mother, Hope Fiedler and four siblings; Randy (Pam) of Plymouth, Lon (Elizabeth) of St. Paul, MN, Lori (Jack) McCauley of Germantown, WI, and Shelley (Michael) McMullen of Green Bay, WI. Lee is also survived by his much loved 15 nieces and nephews; Bradley Fiedler, Shawn Fiedler, April Fiedler, Gabrielle (Chris) Miller, Michelle Fiedler (fiance LJ Coleman), Gilbert Fiedler, Megan (Tyler) Brownfield, Molly (Paul) Vara, Sadie McCauley (fiance Peter Studer), Johnny McCauley, Kevin (Jamie Schindler) McMullen, Eric McMullen, Michael McMullen, Hope McMullen, and Jessica McMullen. He leaves behind nine great-nieces and nephews. He also is survived by an uncle, Ross Fiedler (Yvonne) and Aunts; Elenore Gunem and Inez Abraham.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bruce Fiedler, sister, Lynn Louise and grandparents; Lester and Gwendolyn Fiedler, Gilbert and Elvina Gunem. His faithful dog, Nellie, also preceded him in death.

A funeral service for Lee was held at 6 PM on Thursday, June 29 at Redeemer Lutheran Church with Rev. Casey Sugden, pastor, as officiant. Family and friends could gather at the church, 1808 Eastern Ave., Plymouth from 4 PM until the time of the service at 6 PM. Private family burial will follow.
