anything else Mother Nature had up her sleeve could deter the Elkhart Lake Fireman’s Picnic parade from its appointed rounds Sunday. Despite a mid-day downpour, the annual parade went off as planned, although umbrellas (above) were prevalent than trombones, tractors or fire trucks, both in the parade and along the parade route.
