Janis R. Rediske, 79, of Sheboygan passed away on Thursday, June 29 at Pine Haven Christian Home in Sheboygan Falls.

Janis was born on May 2, 1938 in Sheboygan Falls, a daughter to Joseph and Helen (Grooms) Hulbert. She attended schools in Sheboygan Falls and graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School. On December 28, 1957 she was united in marriage to Robert J. Rediske. He preceded her in death on April 28, 2014. Janis was primarily a homemaker but occasionally would work part time at various businesses. Janis enjoyed bowling, an occasional crossword puzzle, birds and flowers.

Janis is survived by her daughter, Linda Miley of Ixonia; four sons, Gordon (Pat) Rediske and Rodney Rediske, both of Plymouth, David Rediske of Sheboygan and Steven Rediske of Batavia, Illinois; two grandsons, Miles Miley of Scottsdale, AZ and Michael Rediske of Plymouth and a brother, James Hulbert of Kenosha. Along with her husband she was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

A Memorial Service for Janis will be held 1:30 PM, Saturday, July 8 at Wittkopp Funeral and Cremation Services with burial of her cremated remains to be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Family and friends may gather for food and fellowship at Wittkopp Funeral and Cremation Services, 123 South St. in Plymouth on Saturday from 11 AM until the time of service at 1:30 PM.

A memorial fund has been established in Janis’s name.
