JUNE C. GALLOWAY

June C. Galloway, age 85, of Plymouth, WI, passed away Early Saturday Morning (July 8, 2017) at the Waterford in Plymouth where she had been a resident for the past 5 years.

June was born on September 19, 1931 in Sheboygan, WI, a daughter of the late Matthew and Pauline (Wolf) Lensmire.

She graduated from Plymouth High School in 1949.

On September 29, 1951 she married Donald W. Galloway at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in the Town of Mitchell.

The couple’s family home has been in Greenbush for over 55 years.

Her husband preceded her in death on March 10, 2011.

She was a former member of St. Fridolin Catholic Church in Glenbeulah and belonged to the Christian Women Society in the Church and was currently a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth.

June enjoyed gardening, boating, skiing (downhill, cross country, and waterskiing), hiking, biking, golfing, snowmobiling and first and foremost her family.

Survivors include: Four children: Sandra (Ken) Hau of Glenbeulah, Cheryl (Daniel) Rostollan of Sheboygan, Michael Galloway (Partner: Donna Ureda) of Plymouth, Lori (Thomas) Beringer of Plymouth; 12 Grandchildren: Shawn Hau, Jennifer (Bryan) Feltz, Brenda (Bobb) Mineau, Tyler (Tracy) Hau, Jason (Silke) Waldschmidt, Michelle (Brian) Johanski, Travis (Meg) Waldschmidt, Matthew Rostollan (Fiance: Diane Marshall), Nichole Rostollan, Amy (Noah) Kearns, Ryan Beringer (Special friend: Diana Spracher), Sarah Rostollan; 19 Great-Grandchildren; Four brothers and sisters: Roger (Malene) Lensmire of Plymouth, Dale (Rosie) Lensmire of Plymouth, Judy (Jack) Slattery of Campbellsport, and Tim Lensmire of Plymouth.

She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

June was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Donald; Two brothers: Matthew (Charlene) Lensmire, Gary Lensmire; Two brothersin laws: Walter (Mary) Galloway, Roger (Carolyn) Galloway; and two sisters-in-law: Judy Lensmire and Barbara (Ben) Stearns.

Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday Evening (July 12, 2017) at 5:30 P.M. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth.

Rev. Phil Riefenberg, pastor of the Church will officiate.

Cremation has taken place and inurnment will be in the Greenbush Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 3:30 P.M. until the time of Services.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in June’s name for the Gathering Place in Sheboygan Falls.
