Marjorie Rose Schubert, age 67, of Elkhart Lake, passed away unexpectedly on Friday (July 21, 2017) at Holy Family Medical Center in Manitowoc.

She was born in Sheboygan on February 17, 1950, daughter of the late Elmer and Mildred (Bunge) Kuhn.

Margie attended Elkhart Lake Grade School and graduated from Elkhart Lake High School in 1968.

On November 22, 1969, she married Marlow Schubert at St. George Catholic Church in Elkhart Lake. The couple has resided in Elkhart Lake since their marriage. She was a lifelong member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church (formerly St. George) in Elkhart Lake.

Margie worked for many years at Borden’s (DFA) in Plymouth, retiring in 2015.

She loved scrapbooking, cooking, and camping. Margie was a huge sports fan that loved watching all sports, especially the Packers. She was also an animal lover and could always be counted on for playing practical jokes on others. Most of all she cherished spending time with her loving family.

Survivors include: Her Husband: Marlow of Elkhart Lake; Two sons: Allen (Carole) of Kiel and Michael (Amanda) of Glenbeulah; Six grandchildren: Amanda (Kenn) Zolltheis, Marissa and Brittany Magtanong, Michael, Sonia, and Beau Schubert; Great-granddaughter: Kennedy Zolltheis; Two sisters: Jean (Andy) Wondra of Plymouth, and Mary Lou Spindler of Kiel; Four sisters-in-law: Berneda (Willi) Wittek of Glenbeulah, Marlene (Gene) Anderson of Kiel, Arlis (Bernie) Henschel of Elkhart Lake, and Lucinda Schubert of New Holstein; and One brother-in-law: Derold (Yvonne) Schubert of Danbury, WI.

She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Margie was preceded in death by: Her parents; Brother: Richard (Judy) Kuhn; Father and Mother-in-law: Rudy and Edna Schubert; and Two brothersin law: Myron Schubert and Roger Spindler.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday evening (July 26, 2017) at 6:00 P.M. at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Father Dan Volkert will officiate.

Visitation will take place at the Suchon Funeral Home on Wednesday (July 26) from 3:00 P.M. until the time of services.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Margie’s name.
