Pig change for the Gift of Life

Plymouth Gift of Life Softball Tournament representative Janice Struve (left) accepts a donation from John Nygaard, store manager at Fox’s Plymouth Piggly Wiggly. The $650 donation to the tournament, which takes place this coming weekend at Quit Qui Oc Athletic Complex, was raised over three months through donations by customers of spare change in the piggy banks at the store checkout counters. The store, Nygaard said, selects a different organization every three months for the collection. The current collection will go to Project Angel Hugs. Nygaard added that any local club or organization interested in being designated for the collection should contact the store and the store managers will make a decision. Review photo by Emmitt B.
