SFPD Police Report 8-17

Officers with the Sheboygan Falls Police Department arrested Eliezer Gonzalez, 24, of Sheboygan Falls, in the 900 block of Fond du Lac Avenue in the early morning hours Monday, Aug. 17.

Gonzalez was jailed for domestic abuse-disorderly conduct, following an alleged confrontation with 24- year-old woman.

The man was also arrested for resisting arrest, after he attempted to slam a door and prevent officers from arresting him.

Gonzalez was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct-domestic abuse and misdemeanor resisting an officer Tuesday, Aug. 18, in Sheboygan County Circuit Court.

The Class A misdemeanor resisting an officer charge carries a fine of not more than $10,000, or imprisonment of not more than nine months, or both, if convicted.

The Class B misdemeanor disorderly conduct-domestic abuse charge carries a fine of not more than $1,000, or imprisonment of not more than 90 days, or both, if convicted.

SFPD officers responded to a report of an armed 49-year-old man making threats over the phone at a residence on Dewey Street.

After the man was located, police found a .357 magnum in his possession. The man was arrested and taken to jail.

SFPD officers arrested a 36-year-old man wanted on a bench warrant from the Sheboygan Police Department.

Verna M. Michalski, 44, of Sheboygan Falls, was arrested for felony child abuse, after allegedly slamming the head of a 17-year-old female relative into a wall.

The altercation, which took place in the 400 block of Monroe Street, allegedly caused the 17-year-old girl to lose consciousness.

On Friday, Aug. 21, Michalski was charged with felony substantial battery and misdemeanor disorderly conduct.

The Class I felony substantial battery charge carries a fine of not more than $10,000, or imprisonment of not more than three years and six months, or both, if convicted.

SFPD officers and the Sheboygan County Social Service Department are currently investigating a report of a sexual assault of child in the city.

Christopher T. Arenz, 32, was cited for making harassing/threatening phone calls to adult female (second offense) in the 500 block of Pine Street.

The SFPD responded to a report of unwanted guests at a reception at 1 Long Drive.

At the scene, officers located uncooperative 24-year-old man, who was arrested for disorderly conduct and transported to jail.

SFPD officers observed 33-year-old woman strike her 35-year-old husband, during an argument at River Park.

The woman was arrested and transported to jail for disorderly conduct-domestic abuse.

SFPD officers observed Richard Yang, 45, who was attending a graduation party at the Municipal Building, urinating in the parking lot.

After Yang attempted to flee the scene, he was issued a citation.

Officers with the SFPD responded to a report of subjects in an unoccupied, foreclosed home in the 100 block of York Street.

At the scene, offers located seven individuals at the residence.

A 17-year-old male was arrested for criminal trespassing, obstructing an officer and underage consumption of alcohol.

An 18-year-old man was arrested for criminal trespassing and consumption of underage alcohol.

A 20-year-old man arrested for criminal trespassing and underage consumption of alcohol.

An 18-year-old male arrested for criminal trespassing. A 17-year-old male was arrested for criminal trespassing and another 17-year-old male was arrested on a probation hold violation.
