Comm Ed offers movie, classes

Plymouth School District Community Education & Recreation is offering a free showing of “Zootopia” plus Intro to Knitting and Home Alone classes this fall.

“Zootopia” (rated PG) is part of the Fall Free Film series, which this year features recent movies that won or were nominated for Academy Awards. It will be shown from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, in the auditorium at Plymouth High School, 125 HighlandAve.

“Zootopia,” from Walt Disney Animation Studios, is a comedy adventure set in a modern mammal metropolis. Determined to prove herself, Officer Judy Hopps, the first bunny on Zootopia’s police force, jumps at the chance to crack her first case - even if it means partnering with scam-artist fox Nick Wilde to solve the mystery.

Register by Sept. 8 and save $10 on the following classes:

· Intro to Knitting: Learn the fundamentals of knitting: how to start and stop, basic stitches, how to increase and decrease, seams, and the cable stitch.
