PAC member art exhibitors sought

The Plymouth Arts Center is accepting applications for its 22nd Annual Holiday Membership Fine Art Exhibit in Gallery 110 North.

The exhibit is open to all current Plymouth Arts Center members and to those who wish to become a member.

A variety of annual membership levels are available. Entries for the exhibition must be postmarked no later than October 27, 2017.

Each member may submit one piece of original fine art which is their own concept and design not previously displayed in Gallery 110 North.

The Fine Arts Committee will have the final word on appropriateness of the work. The exhibit is open to all two and three-dimensional fine art media including, but not limited to, pastel, painting, sculpture, graphite, drawing, photography, fiber, ceramics, metal, glass, wood, paper, jewelry, leather, printmaking, and mixed media.

Frank Juarez is the judge for this year’s Holiday exhibition. Frank is a gallery director, art educator, artist, author, presenter, and arts advocate living and working in Sheboygan.

Organizing art activities, using social media and networking, Frank is at the forefront of promoting local artists and attracting regional and national artists to the art scene of Wisconsin.

The exhibition will open with a festive reception from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 1. The reception is free and open to the public. Complimentary appetizers will be served. There will be a cash bar, live music, and a brief awards ceremony. The show runs through Friday, Jan.12. Presenting sponsors for this 21st Annual Holiday Membership Show are: Bank First National and Kathy and Paul Sartori. Gallery 110 North is located in the Plymouth Arts Center, 520 E. Mill Street. Regular gallery hours are Tuesday-Friday 10 a,m, to 4 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, 1 to 3 p.m. Closed on Mondays and Holidays. Admission to the gallery is always free. Guests are also invited to visit the PAC Gift Shop featuring the artwork of members.
