JACK G. JOHNSON

Jack G. Johnson Sr., 72, of Waldo, WI, passed away early Wednesday Morning (August 23, 2017) at Sunnyridge Nursing Home in Sheboygan.

He was born on October 8, 1944 in Sheboygan, WI, a son of the late Gustaf and Viola (Neese) Johnson.

On May 15, 1965 he married Priscilla Kohlmann at St. Cloud Catholic Church in St. Cloud, WI. The couple resided in Waldo following their marriage. Priscilla preceded him in death on December 7, 2008.

Jack was employed at the Kohler Company for many years, retiring in 2010. He was a member of Salem United Church of Christ in Plymouth. He was also a member of Waldo Lions Club, was a former member of the Waldo Volunteer Fire Department, and served as Scout Leader for Boy Scout Troop 851 in Plymouth.

He loved his yellow semi- truck, and enjoyed hunting and spending time with his loving grandkids.

Survivors include: Four children: Robert Johnson of Sheboygan Falls, Theodore (Sharon) Johnson of Plymouth, Marcus (Anna) Johnson of Plymouth, and his adopted son: Anthony (Jodi) Lopez of Plymouth; 10 Grandchildren; Daughter-in-law: Paula Johnson of Howards Grove; Two brothers: Gus (Audrey) Johnson of Plymouth and Jon (Carole) Johnson of Sheboygan; One sister: Jean Arentz of Grafton, One Sisterin law: Christine (Bernard) Koenigs of Greenbush; Three brothers-in-law: Francis Kohlmann Jr. of Sheboygan, Herbert (Kathy) Kohlmann of Glenbeulah, and Matthew (Beverly) Kohlmann of Hingham; and Special friend: Marianne Sprague.

He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by: His parents; His wife: Priscilla; One son: Jack Johnson Jr.; Two brothers: Marvin and James Johnson; and two sisters: Evelyn Feldmann and Audrey Lis.

Funeral Services were held on Tuesday Morning August 29, 2017 at at Salem United Church of Christ in Plymouth. Dale Miller officiated. Burial will be in the Waldo Cemetery.
