Camp hosts back-to back events to support children scholarships

The McMann and Tate comedy group will perform Saturday, Sept. 23 at a Camp Anokijig steak and seafood dinner, with an opportunity to take home many unique items.

Guests are welcome at 5:30 p.m. with dinner and laughter starting at 6:30 p.m.

Cost is $85 per person ($45 guest fee, $40 donation). Private table seating for eight is available.

The following day Sept. 24, the annual Fallapalooza will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with brunch, camp activities and special events

Special events include a kids arrowhead dig, carnival games, and kids archery contest with two winners from each age group awarded a week at summer camp in 2018.

Camp activities include boating, and tour boat rides, fishing, archery, kids horse rides, crafts, the Trading Post, and much more.Admission includes the brunch and most activities. Age 12+ - $9; Ages 4-11 - $6; Under age 3 - Free. Extra cost - Kids Horse Rides ($5), Crafts ($ varies) and Trading Post purchases.

All proceeds from both events benefit children through Anokijig’s Scholarship Program.
