POWs, MIAs remembered

Members of Ladewig- Zinkgraf American Legion Post 243 of Plymouth held a ceremony Saturday at City Hall to mark National POW/MIA Recognition Day. The ceremony included the reading of presidential, gubernatorial and mayoral proclamations, as well as a salute to the prisoners of war and missing in action from all of America’s wars and conflicts. The ceremony concluded with the raising of the black-and-white POW/MIA flag on the City Hall flagpole below the American flag, then the playing of Taps. For more pictures of the POW/MIA recognition event, see the photo album on our Facebook page, www.facebook.com/wisconsinnewspress or search for ‘Plymouth Review’ on Facebook.
